Production process of seamless Steel Pipe factory:

Cold drawn (rolled) seamless steel pipe in seamless steel pipe plant: round pipe blank → heating → piercing → heading → annealing → pickling → oiling (copper plating) → multi pass cold drawing (cold rolling) → blank pipe → heat treatment → straightening → hydrostatic test (flaw detection) → marking → warehousing

Hot rolling (extrusion of seamless steel tubes) in seamless Steel Tube plant: round tube blank → heating → piercing → three roll cross rolling, continuous rolling or extrusion → tube stripping → sizing (or reducing) → cooling → straightening → hydrostatic test (or flaw detection) → marking → warehousing is to make blank tubes from steel ingots or solid tube blank by piercing, and then hot rolling, cold rolling or cold drawing. The specification of large diameter thick wall steel pipe factory is expressed by outer diameter * wall thickness mm. Seamless steel pipes are divided into hot rolled and cold rolled (rolled) seamless steel pipes. Hot rolled seamless steel pipe is divided into general steel pipe, low and medium pressure boiler steel pipe, high pressure boiler steel pipe, alloy steel pipe, Stainless Steel Pipe, petroleum cracking pipe, geological steel pipe and other steel pipes. In addition to ordinary steel pipes, low and medium pressure boiler steel pipes, high pressure boiler steel pipes, alloy steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, petroleum cracking pipes and other steel pipes, the cold rolled (drawn) seamless steel pipes of the Seamless Steel Pipe Plant also include carbon thin-walled steel pipes, alloy thin-walled steel pipes, stainless thin-walled steel pipes and profiled steel pipes. The outer diameter of hot rolled seamless tubes in Tongren Large Diameter Thick Wall Steel Tube Plant is generally greater than 32mm, with a wall thickness of 2.5-75mm. The diameter of cold rolled seamless tubes can reach 6mm, the wall thickness can reach 0.25mm, and the outer diameter of thin walled tubes can reach 5mm. The wall thickness is less than 0.25mm. Cold rolling has higher dimensional accuracy than hot rolling.

Hot rolling, as the name implies, the temperature of the rolled piece is high, so the deformation resistance is small, and large deformation can be achieved. Take the rolling of steel plate as an example. Generally, the thickness of continuous casting slab is about 230 mm, and after rough rolling and finishing rolling, the final thickness is 1~20 mm. At the same time, due to the small width thickness ratio of the steel plate and the relatively low requirements for dimensional accuracy, the shape problem is not easy to occur, and the convexity is mainly controlled. If the structure is required, it is generally realized by controlling rolling and cooling, that is, controlling the starting temperature and finishing temperature of finish rolling.
